I was in the process of moving from Omaha Nebraska to Lincoln Nebraska 4th quarter of 2019. At the time I was undecided as to if I wanted to sell my Omaha home or lease it out as an investment. My realtor in Lincoln had recommended Amy DeRoin to me as someone that new the Omaha housing market as well as could provide me with the information that I needed to make an informed decision.
I contacted Amy with my request in obtaining information pertaining to leasing my home. Amy gave all the information I requested plus some for which there was no charge or commitment whatsoever on my part. After going through the information I was supplied with I had determined that I would sell my home in Omaha instead of leasing it out.
I was so impressed with Amy’s professionalism while handling my first request that I had no qualms about having her handle my second request which was to sell my home. One problem I was starting out with was that I would be selling my home during the quiet season (Thanksgiving into Christmas). Amy immediately evaluated my home and came up with realistic asking price and marketing strategy which she had evaluated with other realtors in her office.
When I was needing to rent a truck to move a majority of my belongings Amy let me know that her company has 5 large moving trucks that I can use with the only charge being to fill the tank up when I brought it back. Are you kidding me now that is just one of the many perks that I enjoyed.
Amy would text me with daily updates as to what went or scheduled for that day as well as reminding me what was going to happen in the coming days. I was automatically notified when a realtor requested a showing which was always accepted immediately just as long as I approved the date and time ahead of time. When the showing was completed Amy would contact the realtor to obtain feedback on how well the house was presented and if there were any issues that arose during the showing. Amy is constantly learning from multiple sources as to what is needed to sell homes as fast as she can.
